I want to send my heartfelt gratitude to Malena and Always There Horse Care. I don’t know how I would have gotten through my horse’s illness without her. When my horse spiked a mysterious fever Malena not only trailered us to Morven Park, after midnight, but also stayed and waited with us for hours. My filly, PK, had to spend days in isolation while the veterinarians at Morven Park worked to save her life. It was an emotional time for me and it was tough to focus on everything the vets were telling me but Malena stayed in contact with Morven Park and helped me understand all the technicalities of their diagnosis. She went with me to visit PK and helped guide me through the questions I needed to ask for both the veterinarians and the insurance company. When Morven Park called with the dreaded news that they needed to do surgery immediately it was very late in the evening but Malena went to Morven Park and stayed through the whole surgery offering much needed support. Finally, when the vets cleared my filly to come home I needed a place that could give her round the clock support, special diet and carefully regimented stall care and eventual turnout. Imagine hand-walking a large rambunctious two year old that has been in a stall for over a month!! Thank you Malena for everything you did.
